==Events==

The Nightmare’s arrived to this city after days of travel through the ashen crucible, and arduous challenges along the way. Encountering terrible abominations in a misty forest, before arriving to town.

===Arrival===

The team arrived to encounter a shady guard, who directed them to a seedy bar in the iron district known as The Black Heart. It turned out to be a hideout for the criminal guild that [[Evellon]] was a member of.

Here, they found some interesting jobs to explore. Particularly a mission involving a seedy merchant, and the evident disappearance of the guild’s membership. They then set out to meet the client, a man named Mark, who tasked the party with finding incriminating evidence to discredit the now long dead merchant.

===The Sewers===

To accomplish their objectives, the party was required to find their into the quarantine zone, as the town was afflicted with an unknown plague…

In order to access this place, they were required to travel through the sewers. Where they encountered many dangers and particularly a group of strange infernal cultists.

These cultists who claimed to serve a devil named Orcus, summoned a bone devil by sacrificing themselves. The party had a deadly encounter with it, as [[3:36]] was taunted and assaulted and [[Lyra]] was almost killed leaving her with a permanent scar…

Eventually, the party escaped the depths into the…

===Quarantine Zone===

They arrived in the gas filled zone to find every surface covered in flesh-like growths and corpses shuffling around attacking folks.

They first encountered many dangers, before arriving at father Josefs and grimvars clinic, and being tasked to aid them in exchange for information on where to find the information they seek.

They not only aided him, but also chose to aid the people of the clinic, such as maria or lucius. Various people who needed assistance.

After this, they got the documents and were briefed of certain key information by father josef.

===The Lord’s Keep===

Father Josef informed the party of his theory, that some infernal force conspired to control the lord and find something beneath the city.

He provided a special meditation and tasked the party to retrieve the Scroll of Kas, a powerful divination artifact.

They infiltrated the keep, clearing it of cultists, freeing the lord of dark influence and retrieving the scroll. They returned to the clinic, but the scroll is being obfuscated by some infernal force…

The party will need to head into the deep sewers, and use the scroll to navigate there manually…
