Acquisition
The amulet was found by Evellon in an old crypt. The crypt had numerous shrine dedicated to the ancient god of time Chromos. Abraxus and Novus studied it and learned of its magic-absorbing properties. They also theorized that the amulet does not destroy the magic absorbed but move it to another point in time.
Usage
The amulet was used by Evellon to neutralize the magic field Lady Mirenne had set up around the Shar summoning circle. The amulet had lost all its properties after the fight.
