Background
A peculiar and ominous woman, a warlock by trade in service to a god known only to the Prime party thus far… Her motives are unknown but her actions are clear, whatever dark plans she takes part in, there is no telling how it’s gonna turn out…

What is known
• Mishka has(?) a brother, that evidently used to make jokes or tell her funny things.

• Mishka doesn’t like talking about her past directly.

Personality
Mishka is charming, comedic but petty and impulsive. She often pursues grudges doggedly and acts impulsively even when it’s actively harmful to her, or could go poorly.

She seems to enjoy joking around, and cute or otherwise small and doll-like things. Which seems to be why she follows 3:36.

Abilities
Mishka is a warlock granted exceptional powers through her pact, such as burning crimson eldritch blasts and an uncanny skill with her sickle…

Relationships
Mishka seems to like 3:36, and Jedah although her other allegiances are unknown.

The Prime party suspects she has ties to the cult of Hadar, and the god itself but the extent of this connection is unknown.

First Encounter
Mishka is first encountered just at the gate of the city of Waterdeep, initially an unsettling encounter with a peculiar woman, the paladin Lyra allowed her entry into the city suspecting nothing…

Afterwards, she would appear before them again in the Temple of the Moon. Where, alongside cultists of hadar, she would murder the high priestess of the temple and steal an important Selûnite relic. A small hand mirror, said to be the key to a powerful source of magic by Selûne herself.

Disappearance
After this, Mishka would use a relic possessed by the high priestess to disappear through a portal to a strange city, of odd doors and jagged buildings.

This place is the city of Sigil, although the Champions of Gold in the Prime Material Plane do not yet know of this. Here she would encounter the other half of this party, and her misdeeds unknown to them, she would join them on their journeys through the city.

In The City Of Doors
Joining the Sigil Team, Mishka would assist them at the House of Information, by using her magic to skip the line and allowing them to gather the information they needed about an individual known as Ur.

As well as several jobs and quests the can undertake, both from this beholder behind the counter and a notice board out front.

A couple things like finding the other half of a pair of magical boots, or assisting an Ice Devil with fulfilling a contract on someone’s soul…

They managed to accomplish the last one, and were payed handsomely. That, and they visited a faction obsessed with emotion, selling the experience of bahamut’s death for an exhorbitant amount of gold after mishka fleeced the worker…

Where the journey continues, has yet to be written…

The Heart of Gold is the primary D&D campaign in the Elysium server. It consists of two subcampaigns, Prime and Sigil, with varying timeslots. The DM of the campaign is Seddik.

Introduction
After the Death of Bahamut during the Introduction arc of the Heart of Gold campaign, the party members were sent into the Heart of Gold which became their home. After several weeks within the Heart, the party emerged to find the Sword Coast thrown into a large-scale conflict, the sky stricken crimson by the destruction of the sun, and the balance of Toril at stake.

Characters
* 3:36, an Autognome Wizard
* Evellon, a Drow Rogue
* Lyra, a High Elf Paladin
* Novus, a Lorwyn Changeling Artificer
* Verra, a Human Rogue
* Kierath, a Wood Elf Sorcerer
* Nomad, a Warforged Monk
* Thoma, a Human Fighter
* Graven, a Human War Wizard
* Mishka, a Human Warlock
* Jedah, a Lorwyn Elf Druid

Events
* Bahamut, God of Metallic Dragons, was slain by the Goddess Shar. A massive worm called the Sun-Eater emerged from the god's corpse and flew to 'Consume the Sun', as Shar claimed. This event was named The Death of Bahamut and caused an all-out war to break out in the Sword Coast between the Sharran Neverwinter and the Selûnite Waterdeep.
* The party was split into two groups, a group to counter the Sharran thread in the Prime Material Plane which was called 'Prime Party' and a group to seek out Ur in Sigil. The latter was called 'Sigil Party'

Prime Party
* The party made their way to Waterdeep, home to the Selûnite resistance, to offer their assistance and exchange information. The journey took them to Phandalin where a hostile stand-off with a group of Sharrans that were threatening peasants worshipping Tymora. This stand-off ended with the Sharrans defeated and Evellon and Abraxus being hit with a fireball. Despite the party's heroic act, Sister Garaele, the town priestess, was not happy saying that they doomed the town by obstructing the Sharrans.
* To reach Waterdeep, the party made their way across Leilon, a scorched village that was caught in the cross-fire, where they found the lost traumatized child Lyra Jr. The party, despite Evellon's objections, agreed to take the child to Waterdeep away from the battlefield.
* On their way to Waterdeep, the party had to go though the Mere of Death Men, an undead-infested swamp. The party learned from an injured squad of Selûnites that the undead are raised by a lich. And that the undead seems to be targeting Selûnites more than they are targeting Sharrans.

NPCs
* Gandalf

3:36 is an Autognome Chronology Wizard played by Ronan in the Heart of Gold and Nightmare campaigns.
Background
Little is known about 3:36's background, even to himself. He serves Master Stralore, a mage of great renown and power who to his surprise is relatively unknown in his journeys. As a Chronomancer, 3:36 assumes he had assisted Master Stralore with time-sensitive tasks, such as telling the time, alarming when a precise time had passed, and ensuring desirable outcomes through his manipulation of the timelines. He is also trained in the use of many practical spells to assist with tasks.

Much of his memory regarding Master Stralore, his feats, whereabouts and even identity were lost when 3:36 awoke in a field, distant from civilization. Scrounging for what little finances he could, 3:36 spent several weeks lost before stumbling upon Neverwinter, where he began to find his way as an Adventurer. On one fine day entering The Copper Kettle, 3:36 found himself involved in a spontaneous battle with ruffian Orcs, joining with the party thenceforth.

He seeks to survive in this wilderness and unknown lifestyle, and eventually find his way home to his Master.
Personality
3:36 is quirky, detached and analytical. While he gladly assists those who request his help, his priority directive is to seek a way home. The greater world frightens him, and the loss of his memory is a constant anchor of that fear. He is devout to Master Stralore, often introducing himself as his Chronologist with feverish pride and joy, describing his many great feats and remaining shocked at the lack of his fame.

In regards to the war at large, 3:36 is happy to assist in the effort. He chose to journey to Sigil to accommodate both of these goals, opting to avoid the war at large and find himself in a neutral region where he will be safe to investigate and find his way home, while also aiding the party remaining on Faerun from afar.

He holds an affinity to cinnamon, wherein demonic objects give a comforting, cinnamon-like, homely feel. This was prominent fron Ness-ooos, as well as Soul Coins, Devils and similar demonic aligned aspects. At times, he seems blind to their inherently evil nature as demonic.

Abilities
3:36 is a construct, his clockwork chassis is armor enough on its own. Few poisons are effective on him, he cannot fall ill to diseases, and has no need of food, drink, or breath. He does not sleep; instead he powers down into a watchful six-hour rest, aware of his surroundings the entire time. Repairs take the place of recovery, although Master Stralore designed him capable of receiving healing magics.

As a Wizard, 3:36 treats magic as a discipline to be studied, transcribed, and refined rather than an inborn gift. Introspective of his nature, his particular study is time itself. He perceives the next few seconds a fraction before they arrive, letting him act before nearly anyone else in a fight. His perception of timelines allows him to shift a moment that has just happened and unwind it, forcing another outcome. Recent studies have granted him the ability to pause a creature in a bubble of arrested time.

A mysterious infernal rune on his back is able to extract latent energy from within Soul Coins, allowing 3:36 to enter a state of Overdrive. In this state, his spells are cast more powerful than usual.

Relationships
3:36 is a close friend of Nomad, often sharing theories of existence with the fellow construct. He is fond of Kierath's generosity, often seeking finances from her thanks to her exorbitant wealth. He is trustful of Verra, having journeyed together to arrive in Sigil where they were met with an entourage of strangers. He values Torgold's outlook on life, as well as Lyra's fierce protectiveness and desire to do good.

He is amenable to the party at large, with little cause for concern from most of its members.

He is frightened of Mishka, fearing her chaotic and potentially disruptive nature as a barrier to obtaining the vital information he seeks about Master Stralore.

Adventure Log
3:36 is an active participant in the Heart of Gold campaign. He also made a brief appearance in the Nightmare campaign, but has not materialized in the Nightmare for some time.

Heart of Gold
Neverwinter Woods
3:36 began the journey with the party in The Copper Kettle tavern. Encountering a trope of aggressive Orcs pursuing Torgold, 3:36 assisted in protecting him. In the aftermath, he assisted Torgold in laying their bodies to rest nearby, before setting off with the party on a quest into the Neverwinter Woods, to slay a reported Dragon. After journeying for some time and dealing with an ambush from a waiting pack of Orcs and Ogres, 3:36 rested in camp when the party was approached by Gunthar Flaming-Tongue and his Githyanki entourage, having earlier met him at the tavern. A spell was cast to detect his thoughts, revealing an intent to join the party for a purpose, not revealed at the time. He was turned away from the camp as the party rested.

The following morning, the Dragon flew overhead, ambushing the party. 3:36 remained in an inert state during this encounter, receiving a mandatory update which required downtime. He was carried as the party ventured into a nearby tomb, uncovering the truth of Gunthars identity as Bahamut, and the conspiracy of the Neverwinter Government against him. Awakening from his maintenance period, 3:36 sprung suddenly from Lyra's backpack, finding the party caught off-guard by the two Githyanki. Resolving the conflict peacefully, the party and Gith united in a joined effort to rescue Gunthar from a force of Sharrans in the valley below. Taking the western hills, 3:36 cast spells down from height to hinder and defeat their foes, freeing Gunthar.

In the night that followed, another Sharran force arrived led by Lady Mirenne. Refusing to hand over Gunthar, the two forces engaged in a skirmish, with the Sharrans raising a Gate spell to summon Shar herself from the Shadowfell and Gunthar taking his divine form as Bahamut, the Dragon. Shars summoning was a success, as she rose to slay Bahamut, striking the sun from the sky with her spear, Sun-Eater. 3:36 joined the party in fleeing the battlefield under Bahamuts guidance, entering his Heart of Gold (Bastion) where they rested for what was discovered to be several weeks.

Reaching Sigil
Exiting the Heart of Gold with Kierath and Verra, the trio chose to follow Bahamuts final wish, seeking Ur to deliver news of his fate. Knowing Ur was in a location known as Sigil, Verra recognized their destination as a place her order, the Blood Hunters, could help them reach. Journeying under her directive, they prevented an innocent from being harmed by accusing refugees, exterminated a crashed Mind Flayer, and encountered a mysterious crystal of Shadow Weave. Drawn idly into the crystal by an unknown force, 3:36s powers were heightened by it, granting him further mastery and direct influence over his fate.

As the party reached the Order’s HQ, they were greeted by Garran and Yelena, two order members and old friends of Verra. With their guidance after sharing their learnings, they were guided to Sigil through an unorthadox portal, from within the Elemental plane of Earth inside a Gauth. Yelena opened a portal to said plane, and the party defeated the Gauth with Kierath throwing a desperate dagger right in its eye. Out of its remains, a portal to Sigil, The City of Doors, opened.

Arriving in Sigil, 3:36 and Verra were separated from Kierath who had chosen to remain behind, returning to the party on the Sword Coast. Within Sigil, they quickly met with three new allies, Mishka, Jedah and Thoma. From the Hall of Information, they gathered intelligence on the whereabouts of Ur, as well as several nearby tasks to complete. Tragically, 3:36 was unable to find any information regarding Master Stralore. The party journeyed to the Society of Sensation to provide their account of the Sun-Eater, before venturing to retrieve a stolen legal document from a Giff going by the handle of "The Throngler". In their efforts to hunt him down, the party fought through a market, traveled by catapult and broke up a pit fight, with Thoma taking a youth Dragon as his pet.

Nightmare
3:36 first materialized within the Nightmare amid battle with a frightening Adamantine Construct. As the machine fell, he and the party made a dash to escape before the chamber collapsed entirely. Finding themselves in the ashen wilderness of The Crucible, 3:36 journeyed with Torgold, Lyra and Jean Ball, traversing a blockade in the road caused by rockfall, a thick overwhelming fog of darkness, and various beasts.

As the party entered Raven's Roost, 3:36 rematerialized to join them in traversing the Sewers, entering the Quarantine Zone. In an encounter with Cultists, a Devil was summoned, striking and piercing 3:36 with its tail and injecting a potent poison. The Devil spoke to him in infernal, stating Even if you find your master, you will only be abandoned again you scrap… if your master were a snake he would bite you too…

After recovering from this battle, 3:36 assisted the party in defeating a swarm of rats to recover NIGHTFALL, before dematerializing upon their entry to the Quarantine Zone.

He is yet to return to the Nightmare.

Nomad is a Warforged Warrior of Mercy Monk played by Ronan in the Nightmare and Heart of Gold campaigns.
Background
Nomad was born deep below the surface, amid a rigid society of constructs, spartan living conditions and endless warfare. For centuries, he simply fought for the belief that it would allow his creators, the First Civilization, to rise to the surface and prosper, while he and his comrades held the line. He was known only as Warforged, as were his comrades, lacking individuality.

Due to a loss of supplies, it was decided that the Warforged must ascend to the surface and contact their creators. Upon rising to the surface he found himself cut off and alone from his allies, emerging into an ongoing skirmish between two human factions. His sudden appearance caused a brief stalemate, as he bargained for resources. One commander offered a bounty of Casterite Crystals should he aid them. He agreed. The battle was won with his assistance, however for the first time after concluding a fight he was conflicted by this position. For thousands of years, he and his comrades fought to allow their creators on the surface to achieve greatness. And yet this was not to be. War over land and resource ran rampant, lords bickered and could have chosen peace, but still the battle progressed. And among it all he had only served as a tool to execute the battle for payment, much like the soldiers who cheered and looted their enemies for gold.

In that moment, Nomad lost his identity as Warforged, lost faith in his mission, and abandoned his duty. The crystals would have served useful to an army for a day or two at most, but alone he thrived for weeks walking the surface of the world and learning their customs.

Personality
Nomad is driven by purpose. His old life’s purpose was to preserve the ability for organics to rise to the surface and thrive away from the monsters of the depth. However, upon rising to the surface and finding they had forgone that offering to continue spreading their own wars, he has rejected this original purpose. Provided he is fighting for his newfound purpose of preventing unnecessary conflicts, Nomad is willing to die for those he cares for. If he must choose, he is often quick to determine who lives and dies to mitigate further death, but grieves his involvement for much longer.

Outside of combat, Nomad is cautious of strangers but quick to impress. He is fond of offering second chances, and does not often take sides into consideration, willing to aid the individuals belonging to the "enemy" of the land in whatever way he can.

Abilities
As a Warforged, Nomad's integrated plating grants him bolstered armor, and his body is largely immune to the frailties of flesh. He resists poison, cannot contract disease, and needs neither food, drink, nor air. Magic cannot force him to sleep.

Fighting unarmoured and unarmed, Nomad uses his dexterity and awareness to dodge attacks effortlessly. He moves faster than normal thanks to his training, can catch or deflect incoming missiles, and can attune his strikes to directly affect his targets with a fundamental understanding of the force behind his strikes.

As a Warrior of Mercy, Nomad trained as a physician as much as a fighter. His Hand of Healing lets him restore the vitality of others, while his Hand of Harm is its mirror: infecting and draining targets of their life force. Recent training has allowed him to better utilize these abilities, cleansing harmful effects with his healing and inflicting a poison with his harm.

Relationships
Within the Nightmare, Nomad has grown to be a member of the party.

In his travels to Faerun, Nomad has joined the party. His focus is largely on bringing an end to the conflict, although his true motives and reason for entering Faerun are unknown.

He is a close friend to 3:36, often sharing theories of existence with the fellow construct. While initially distrustful of Evellon, he came to trust them during their time in the Quarantine Zone. He values Torgold's outlook on life, as well as Lyra's fierce protectiveness and desire to do good.

He is concerned with the behaviors of Kierath, understanding that her need to consume brains is within her nature, but fearing what that nature could possibly be. He was distrusting of Abraxus due to his appearing disregard of life, falsely holding him responsible for the carnage that took Phandalin.

Adventure Log
Nomad is an active participant in the Nightmare and Heart of Gold campaigns.

Nightmare
He first appeared in the Nightmare campaign as an aid to Father Josef's clinic in Raven's Roost, deep within the Quarantine Zone. Upon meeting the party, he was initially cautious of their arrival and intents within the zone, as was Josef. To gain their trust, the party journeyed to retrieve supplies from Davros, only to find him succumbed to the plague. Undeterred, the supplies were collected and returned to the clinic.

Nomad chose to accompany the party as they resolved several tasks for patients of the clinic, before culminating in assisting them with their true goal of obtaining information from a ledger in the areas Merchant Guild. After returning to the Clinic, Father Josef informed the party of his concerns regarding the Lord of Raven's Roost, believing him to have fallen victim to a curse or charm. Providing them with a potion to cleanse the effects, the party set off for The Lord's Keep.

Infiltrating The Lord's Keep, Nomad ventured with Thoma and Calaxes. Their efforts of stealth were undermined by a poor attempt to sabotage a Teleportation Circle resulting in Nomad being warped to the front of the keep, and an attempt to open a magically trapped chest erupting with a Thunderwave. Despite these setbacks, the trio regrouped with the party and tended to the Lords condition, removing the effects that obscured him to his actions before once again returning to the Clinic.

With a scroll recovered from the Lord, Grimvar attempted to scry the source of the plague, only to find a disruptive barrier deep within the sewers.

Heart of Gold
As the party arrive to Waterdeep, they are met by Nomad. Having traveled the Sword Coast, he has become disturbed by the wanton spread of warfare, tracing it back to the Death of Bahamut. Some investigation of the surrounding scenes led him to discover the parties input into this incident, as he sought them out. He plans to aid the party in setting right balance, and ending this war.

As the party journeyed through the city, Nomad paused to speak with a captive Sharran, who had attempted to commune with the party seeking assistance with returning a gold bar to his family. Attempting to take the bar, Nomad was caught in an attempt of sleight of hand by nearby guards, but recovered by appearing as a belligerent, hapless figure.

Nomad became especially wary of the members Abraxus and Kierath during their time in the city, the former for his quickness to execute a fleeing civilian, and the latter for her chosen palette of brain-eating. Despite this, when Abraxus was assassinated Nomad assisted in taking down his killer, the Sharran-indoctrinated Assassin ___.

In a spot of downtime, Nomad assisted a group of Selunite clerics in the Field Ward near the Northern Gate. During his time here, a Selunite soldier approached with a fallen Sharran soldier in arms; his sister, struck and poisoned by his own greataxe. Nomad endeavored to retrieve a vial of antidote, one which did not come readily due to its use on a Sharran being perceived as wasteful. By infecting himself, he was tended to by his fellow clerics, taking advantage of a brief distraction to steal and escape with his would-be cure. The Sharran soldier was saved, the siblings leaving quickly to avoid further trouble from the cloister.

Dust: /* 5.5e vs 5e */

The following are house rules used in the Elysium D&D sessions.

One Character Per Session
Players may have multiple characters available to them, however they must only play one character at a time during sessions. Ideally, the character intended to be used should be confirmed with the DM to ensure content can be prepared, and to allow the DM to telegraph if a character should not be present to avoid lore inconsistencies or similar undesirable outcomes.

Critical Success / Failure
A natural 20 is considered to be the best possible outcome of a successful role. Similarly, a natural 1 is considered to be the worst possible outcome of a failure. While this does often mean that an action will be successful or failed, the two are not mutually exclusive; a critical success does not necessarily mean that anything becomes possible.

Sneak Attacks Out Of Combat
While out of combat and performing a stealth attack on an unaware creature, the player is able to instantly execute their target provided they pass relevant skill checks presented by the GM

Rule Of Cool
Be mindful that rules, at least how I consider them, are not constraints; they are the framework we work on. Rules are meant to be broken. What we’re trying to do here, besides having fun, is write a novel together. If 5ft of movement, a bonus action or a disadvantage ruin that novel: Fuck the rules!!! There isn’t a rule as important as the rule of cool - Seddik

5.5e vs 5e
We refer to the latest printed sources where possible, such as 5.5e or 2024 source books. However, if you prefer the ruling or behavior of a feature in a prior printed counterpart, use that instead.

For example:
* Feel free to Cast a Spell in your Action Surge or cast a Divine Smite without a Bonus Action.
* Cast a Spell as an Action, and another as a Bonus Action (the latter has to have a casting time of a Bonus Action, like Misty Step)

In the dead of night, when resting within the golden heart of Bahamut, the party found their minds drifting to a realm far away…

The First Dream
The party found themselves as strangers in a strange land, surrounding them was a vast landscape of volcanic ash stretching far into an encompassing mountain range. The landscape scarred by obsidian crags that broke off from a towering obsidian volcano that sits at the valley’s centre.

Here, they encountered a familiar yet mangled face… Jean Paul or some twisted version of him changed by some terrible curse. Although they know not yet what afflicts this accursed man, they know him to refer to himself as Jean Ball in his newfound madness.

Together, they elected to head north towards the opening in the mountain range.

The Forest of Mist
As they travelled through the landscape of ash and bone, they would eventually find their standing before a large obsidian pillar that had been toppled over by some unknown event. The party each found their own ways over, Lyra used her newly gifted wings to fly over the stone, Jean Ball levitated up the cliff to pass over, while 3:36 and Novus passed through a small fungi filled tunnel beneath the old stone.

Upon reaching the other side they saw before them a forest cloaked in a layer of heavy mist, a soft light floating enticingly within. Seeing the obvious trap for what it is, the party with the aid of Novus’s Magic Stone spell destroyed the light. When they did this however, some large creature rushed through the forest unseen in the foggy forest.

With no other choice, the party decided to head through the forest. With the aid of 3:36 creating a ward against the fog to allow them a degree of safe travel through the mists. They traveled for a time with the aid of Lyra flying above to navigate before encountering a large ravine that blocked their path. Jean Ball strayed from the ward for but a moment while attempting a solution and was dragged off off swiftly by an unseen horror… To make matters worse? he was tied to Lyra! who was almost dragged herself through the forest, they barely managed to escape thanks to a Hellish Rebuke by Jean Ball.

They did continue for a time, being joined by Evellon but we halted by Lyras voice calling out from within the fog, trying to pull the party deeper into the depths… They managed to see through this ruse, and after some investigation found themselves in battle with a Flower Dryad.

After a hard fought battle, they finally escaped the forest… seeing the lights of civilization on the horizon.

Nightmare is a campaign set in the Elysium server. The DM of Nightmare is Dust.
Lore
After the death of Bahamut during the Introduction arc of the Heart of Gold campaign, the party members were sent into the Heart of Gold which became their home. However, upon going to sleep, they began to experience nightmares. During these vivid dreams, they are transported to the Nightmare setting, which proves to be more challenging and tests their resolve. It is as yet unknown why the party members are drawn here in their sleep.

When entering and exiting the Nightmare, individuals are known to materialize and vanish suddenly. Native inhabitants of the Nightmare are accustomed to seeing this behavior, calling these figures "Dreamers"
The Nightmare’s arrived to this city after days of travel through the ashen crucible, and arduous challenges along the way. Encountering terrible abominations in a misty forest, before arriving to town.

Arrival
The team arrived to encounter a shady guard, who directed them to a seedy bar in the iron district known as The Black Heart. It turned out to be a hideout for the criminal guild that Evellon was a member of.

Here, they found some interesting jobs to explore. Particularly a mission involving a seedy merchant, and the evident disappearance of the guild’s membership. They then set out to meet the client, a man named Mark, who tasked the party with finding incriminating evidence to discredit the now long dead merchant.

The Sewers
To accomplish their objectives, the party was required to find their into the quarantine zone, as the town was afflicted with an unknown plague…

In order to access this place, they were required to travel through the sewers. Where they encountered many dangers and particularly a group of strange infernal cultists.

These cultists who claimed to serve a devil named Orcus, summoned a bone devil by sacrificing themselves. The party had a deadly encounter with it, as 3:36 was taunted and assaulted and Lyra was almost killed leaving her with a permanent scar…

Eventually, the party escaped the depths into the…

Quarantine Zone
They arrived in the gas filled zone to find every surface covered in flesh-like growths and corpses shuffling around attacking folks.

They first encountered many dangers, before arriving at father Josefs and grimvars clinic, and being tasked to aid them in exchange for information on where to find the information they seek.

They not only aided him, but also chose to aid the people of the clinic, such as maria or lucius. Various people who needed assistance.

After this, they got the documents and were briefed of certain key information by father josef.

The Lord’s Keep
Father Josef informed the party of his theory, that some infernal force conspired to control the lord and find something beneath the city.

He provided a special meditation and tasked the party to retrieve the Scroll of Kas, a powerful divination artifact.

Before heading to the keep, the party visited the black heart. Speaking with D, the bartender about what happened to Evellons guild. She didn’t know much, beyond that the dreamer’s simply disappeared. The only other one she saw was a man, with long ears and a sharp disposition allegedly hunting a traitor, alone…

They then. infiltrated the keep, encountering a peculiar man with a gnarly burn on his face. He introduced himself as Calaxes, a former guard captain the cult attempted to assassinate. He stated he was searching for his missing family, and agreed to help the party as they too pursued the cult infecting this city.

They then explored the keep, clearing it of cultists, freeing the lord of dark influence and retrieving the scroll. They returned to the clinic, but the scroll is being obfuscated by some infernal force…

The party will need to head into the deep sewers, and use the scroll to navigate there manually…

Events

Graven is a Human Wizard of War Magic played by Dust in the Prime campaign.
Background
The head of the House of Essence in waterdeep, entrusted by the high priestess with assisting the party on their adventures.

Graven is a ruthless bureaucrat who was feared and respected by his compatriots for his razorsharp attention to detail, why he now willingly assists a group of complete stranger’s is unknown…

Graven appears to have some kind of severe illness or disease, coughing up blood after the fight with the cultists…

Personality
Graven is smug, confident and cantankerous. He rarely second guesses himself and prefers to remain focused on the task at hand. He is quick to make snide remarks, and most of all he’s someone who rarely chooses to help others without compensation, and can be inflexible.

Abilities
Graven as a war magic wizard, capable of casting spells and wielding powerful magic. He has a particular focus on the school of necromancy, plying curses and summoning the dead.

Relationships
Adventure Log
Graven joined the party in the house of essence, when the party appeared presenting the heart of gold to him as proof of bahamut’s death.

He travelled with them to the temple of the moon, which was attacked by metallic dragons shortly thereafter.

He assisted in calming the powerful dragon, who was a golden dragon known as Solarus, the dragon of truth. After explaining the events to him, they arrived at an agreement and the dragon headed to neverwinter. The headquarters of the sharrans, to enact his revenge upon them presumably.

They then met with the high priestess of the temple of the moon, being entrusted with a great deal of responsibility by her. They have been tasked with four missions in the time being, those being:

1. To negotiate with the Elven City of Eaerlann, and ensure they do not fall to the sharran influence.

2. To aid a city graven doesn’t remember the name of that is under siege by supplying then properly.

3. To convince the orcs of icespire peak to cease their raids upon the selunite supply lines.

4. To slay the lich in the swamps on the shoreline between the territories, in no man’s land.

After this, upon retiring to the balcony, the priestess was assassinated by a woman and four cultists which was later investigated to be named mishka. These cultists clearly served Hadar, the star and great old one. It’s likely involved in the eldritch plague within the city which graven is most interested in investigating…

Adventure Log
First Encounter
Mishka is first encountered just at the gate of the city of waterdeep, initially an unsettling encounter with a peculiar woman, the paladin Lyra allowed her entry into the city susoecting nothing…

Afterwards, she would appear before them again in the temple of the moon. Where, alongside cultists of hadar, she would murder the high priestess of the temple and steal an important selunite relic. A small hand mirror, said to be the key to a powerful source of magic by Selune herself.

Raven's Roost is a city in The Crucible, seen in the Nightmare campaign.

Events

They infiltrated the keep, clearing it of cultists, freeing the lord of dark influence and retrieving the scroll. They returned to the clinic, but the scroll is being obfuscated by some infernal force…

The party will need to head into the deep sewers, and use the scroll to navigate there manually…

Graven appears to have some kind of severe illness or disease, coughing up blood after the fight with the cultists…
Graven is smug, confident and cantankerous. He rarely second guesses himself and prefers to remain focused on the task at hand. He is quick to make snide remarks, and most of all he’s someone who rarely chooses to help others without compensation, and can be inflexible.
